A person reads every message. We act on reports of content that breaks our rules within 24 hours and on TAKE IT DOWN requests within 48 hours, and we aim to reply to other messages within 5 business days. On this page, the App is the Jurvo app for iOS, the Site is our website at jurvo.me, and the Service is the App, the Site and the services we provide through them. Card, Vote, Guest, Account and Member have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.

3. Your account
Link to this sectionHow do I sign in?
Link to this sectionThe App offers four ways in:
- Continue with Apple. The App asks Apple only for your email address, and Apple lets you hide it with Hide My Email.
- Continue with Google. The App asks Google only for basic sign-in information: your Google account's identifier, your email address, and your name and a link to your profile picture if your Google account has them. The App never shows your Google name or picture.
- Continue with Email. Create an Account with an email address and a password of at least 8 characters.
- Explore as a guest. Vote on a limited number of Cards without signing in. Posting Cards needs an Account.
If you create an Account from a Guest session, it keeps your Votes. If you sign in to an Account you already have, the activity from your Guest session stays behind.
What is the age requirement?
Link to this sectionYou must be 18 or older to use Jurvo, including as a Guest. When you create an Account, the App asks for your birthday, which is never shown to anyone. If the date shows that you are under 18, the App blocks the account and keeps a marker on your device that stops the App from being used on it. We do not lift age blocks, and we delete a blocked account within 30 days.
Who can see what I post and how I vote?
Link to this sectionEveryone using the App can see your Cards. Public Cards show your nickname; anonymous Cards show "Anonymous". Anonymous means anonymous to other people, not to us: we know which Account posted every Card. Every Card also carries the country from your device's region setting. No other user can see how you voted; others see only totals and percentages. Signed-in Members can access some of your profile details, which section 3.4 of our Privacy Policy lists.
Who writes the Cards?
Link to this sectionMembers write Cards about their own dilemmas. Some Cards are written by our team, sometimes with help from AI tools, and a person on our team approves each one. They appear under nicknames our team created, or as "Anonymous", in the same way as Members' Cards. They fill places in your daily set when there are not enough new Cards from Members, they are not labelled one by one, and they never appear in lists or the archive. Every Vote on them is cast by a person using the App, as on every other Card. Section 6 of the Terms of Service explains this in full.
Can I change my nickname or email address?
Link to this sectionNot in the App. Email [email protected] from the email address on your Account, and tell us what you want to change.
Not available yet: password reset and email codes
Link to this sectionYou cannot reset a forgotten password in the App yet. Until you can, email [email protected] from the email address on your Account, and we will help you get back in. When these features launch, we will email you a 6-digit code to enter in the App in three situations: to confirm your email address when you create an Account with it; to confirm an email address that is added to your profile or replaces the one on your Account, for example when you create an Account from a Guest session; and to reset your password after you choose "Forgot password?". These emails are only about your Account, and they contain no advertising, tracking pixels or tracked links. Resend, our email service provider, will send them for us (Privacy Policy section 9.4).
4. Your data
Link to this sectionHow do I delete my account?
Link to this sectionEmail [email protected] from the email address on your Account, with the subject line "Delete my account". If you use Hide My Email, tell us the relay address your Account uses. We verify the request and delete your Account 30 days after we received it, or as soon as we have verified it if that takes longer. Until then, your Account keeps working and you can cancel by email. Your Cards stay on Jurvo without your nickname unless you ask us to delete them too. Our Delete your account page explains every step and what we keep.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Link to this sectionEmail [email protected] from the email address on your Account, with the subject line "Copy of my data". We verify your request and send you a copy in a machine-readable format within 45 days of receiving it. We do not keep the copy after we send it. Section 18 of our Privacy Policy explains how requests work.
Not available yet: deleting your account or getting your data in the App
Link to this sectionWhen these features launch, you will be able to start deleting your Account, and download a copy of your data, in the App. Until then, use the email addresses above.
5. Safety and reporting
Link to this sectionHow do I report a Card or a person?
Link to this sectionEmail [email protected] with the Card's text (or a screenshot or its share link), roughly when you saw it, and why you are reporting it. A person reviews every report, and when the content breaks our rules, we act within 24 hours. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 first. Section 17 of our Content Policy has the details.
Not available yet: reporting and blocking in the App
Link to this sectionYou cannot report a Card or block another Member in the App yet. Until you can, report by email as described above.
Where can I get help in a crisis?
Link to this sectionJurvo is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. If you are thinking about suicide or self-harm, or are worried about someone, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or text HOME to 741741 to reach Crisis Text Line. Both are free, confidential and available at any time.
How do I ask for an intimate image to be removed?
Link to this sectionFollow our Intimate Image Removal process. Email [email protected] with the subject line "TAKE IT DOWN request", and we will act within 48 hours of a valid request.
How do I report a copyright problem?
Link to this sectionSend a notice to our designated agent as our Copyright Policy explains.
6. Not available yet: subscriptions, cancellations and refunds
Link to this sectionJurvo is free, and nothing in the App can be bought today. If we offer subscriptions, Apple will handle payment. You will be able to cancel at any time in the subscription settings of your Apple Account; to avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current one ends. Refunds will be handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting the App or your Account will not cancel a subscription. Section 13 of the Terms of Service has the full terms.
7. Security and responsible disclosure
Link to this sectionResponsible disclosure policy
Link to this sectionWe welcome reports of security vulnerabilities from people who act in good faith.
- Scope. The Jurvo app for iOS, our website at jurvo.me, and the servers that the App connects to for Jurvo. Services run by other companies that we use, such as Apple, Google, Supabase, Cloudflare and Hostinger, are out of scope; report vulnerabilities in their services to them. Denial-of-service testing, spam, social engineering of our team or of anyone who uses Jurvo, physical attacks, and reports from automated scanners that show no real impact are also out of scope.
- How to report. Email [email protected] with a description of the vulnerability, the steps to reproduce it, its impact and how to contact you. Please do not include other people's personal information. We will confirm that we received your report within 5 business days and keep you updated while we work on it.
- What we ask. Test only with accounts that you own. Do not access, change or delete other people's information; if you come across any, stop, do not keep it, and tell us. Do not disrupt the Service or degrade it for others. Give us a reasonable time to fix the problem, normally 90 days, before you share details publicly. Do not ask for payment in exchange for not disclosing a vulnerability.
- Safe harbor. If you follow this policy, we consider your research authorized, we will not bring legal action against you for it or ask law enforcement to investigate you for it, and if someone else brings legal action against you for activities that followed this policy, we will make it known that we authorized them. We cannot authorize testing of other companies' systems.
- Recognition. We do not offer payment for reports today. If you would like, we will thank you publicly once the problem is fixed.
Our security contact details are also published at /.well-known/security.txt.
Keeping your account secure
Link to this sectionUse a password that you do not use anywhere else, protect your device with a passcode, and sign out of the App on a device that other people use. If you think someone else has used your Account, email [email protected] right away.
8. Law enforcement and legal requests
Link to this section- Where to send requests. Send requests for user information to [email protected] with the subject line "Law enforcement request". Include your name, agency, badge or identification number and contact details, and attach the legal process.
- What we require. We disclose information about people who use Jurvo only in response to valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order or search warrant, that complies with applicable law, including the Stored Communications Act (18 U.S.C. §2701 and following). We review every request, and we may object to requests that are overbroad or unclear.
- Preservation. We honor requests under 18 U.S.C. §2703(f) to preserve records for 90 days, which can be extended once by a further 90 days, while you obtain legal process.
- Emergencies. If a request involves an emergency with imminent danger of death or serious physical injury, email [email protected] with the subject line "Emergency disclosure request" and describe the emergency. We may disclose information without legal process when the law allows it, as 18 U.S.C. §2702 provides. Our legal inbox is not monitored at all hours, so if someone is in immediate danger, call 911 as well.
- Telling users. Unless the law, a court order or someone's safety prevents it, we will try to tell the person concerned before we disclose their information in response to legal process, using the email address on their Account. We cannot notify Guests, who have no email address.
- What we hold. We hold sign-in and profile information, Cards, Votes, and the IP addresses of sign-in sessions, as our Privacy Policy describes. Jurvo has no private messaging. The App does not ask for real names, phone numbers, photos or precise locations. If someone signs in with Google, we also hold the name on their Google account, if it has one, and a link to its profile picture, which the App never shows.
- Other legal process. Civil subpoenas and other legal documents can be sent to [email protected] or to PuredLab LLC, Attn: Legal, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. Sending a document by email does not waive any objection we may have to it. You can also reach our legal and copyright line at +1 (212) 498-9628.
9. Accessibility
Link to this sectionIf something in the App or on the Site is hard to use, email [email protected] and we will help. Our Accessibility statement describes what we have done and what we know still needs work.
