Cookie Notice

Summary (not legally binding). The Jurvo website sets no cookies, keeps no information in your browser's storage, and uses no analytics or tracking. Cloudflare, which delivers the website, can set a strictly necessary security cookie in specific situations, such as when it checks for bots. The Jurvo app does not set cookies or use an advertising identifier. If we ever want to add analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
1. About this notice
Link to this sectionThis Cookie Notice from PuredLab LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (registration no. 0008109479) (we, us or our) explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on our website at jurvo.me (the Site) and in the Jurvo app for iOS (the App). It adds to our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include other kinds of browser storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting.
2. The Site sets no cookies
Link to this sectionThe Site:
- sets no cookies;
- keeps no information in your browser's local storage, session storage or other web storage (your browser may still keep copies of the Site's pages and files in its ordinary cache, as it does for any website);
- uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, social media widgets or other third-party scripts;
- loads no fonts, images or other files from other companies; and
- has no forms and no sign-in.
Our automated tests check every page of the Site to confirm that it sets no cookies and makes no requests to other websites.
3. Cloudflare security cookies
Link to this sectionCloudflare, Inc. delivers the Site and protects it from attacks. Cloudflare can set the cookies below, which it describes as strictly necessary, but only in the situations listed. In normal use, the Site's Cloudflare settings do not set any of them. They are used only for security and for delivering the Site, not for tracking or advertising, and we cannot read their contents.
| Cookie | When it can appear | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | If Cloudflare's bot protection is active for the Site | Helps Cloudflare tell people from automated traffic | 30 minutes of inactivity |
cf_clearance | If Cloudflare shows a security challenge, for example to traffic that looks automated | Records that your browser passed the challenge, so you are not asked again | As Cloudflare sets it |
cf_chl_rc_i, cf_chl_rc_ni and cf_chl_rc_m | During a Cloudflare security challenge | Help Cloudflare find problems with challenges | As Cloudflare sets them |
__cfruid and _cfuvid | If Cloudflare rate limiting is active for the Site | Help Cloudflare apply rate limits, including to visitors who share an IP address | As Cloudflare sets them |
__cflb | If Cloudflare load balancing is used for the Site | Sends your requests to the same server | Up to 24 hours |
cf_ob_info and cf_use_ob | If Cloudflare's Always Online feature shows a saved copy of the Site | Tell Cloudflare to show the saved copy | 30 seconds |
__cfwaitingroom | If a Cloudflare waiting room is active for the Site | Keeps your place in the queue | As Cloudflare sets it |
Cloudflare describes these cookies on its Cloudflare cookies page.
4. Server logs
Link to this sectionWhen you visit the Site, Hostinger, which hosts it, and Cloudflare, which delivers it, automatically receive information about each request: your IP address, browser and device details, the page you asked for, the page you came from and the time. They use it to deliver the Site and protect it, and they keep it under their own policies. Server logs are not cookies, and we never link them to a Jurvo account.
5. The App
Link to this sectionThe App does not set cookies, does not use an advertising identifier, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising software. Because the App does not track you, it never asks for permission to track you. The App stores a small amount of information on your device so that it works, such as your sign-in session and votes that are waiting to be sent; section 3.13 of the Privacy Policy lists all of it.
6. Your choices
Link to this section- Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The Site works without cookies, but if you block Cloudflare's security cookies, you may not be able to pass a security challenge when one appears.
- Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. Because the Site sets no cookies and we do not sell or share personal information, the signal has nothing further to turn off.
- The App. Deleting the App removes most of what it stores on your device. Three items that the App keeps in the iOS Keychain can remain: your sign-in session, so that reinstalling the App on the same device can sign you back in; the key that encrypts Votes waiting to be sent; and a marker that the App places if it blocks an account for age (Privacy Policy sections 3.13 and 6). If you have an Account, signing out before you delete the App ends the session.
7. If we ever add analytics
Link to this sectionWe do not use analytics today. Before we add analytics, or any other cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary, we will update this notice and ask for your consent. Nothing of that kind will run until you agree, and we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a refusal.
8. Changes and contact
Link to this sectionIf we change this notice, we will post the new version on the Site and change the date shown at the top of it. Questions go to [email protected].
