Accessibility Statement

Summary (not legally binding). We want everyone to be able to use the Jurvo website and app. We aim for the website to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and automated accessibility tests run on every page whenever we change the website. Automated tests do not catch everything, and no independent audit has been done yet. If something is hard to use, email [email protected] and we will help.

PuredLab LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (registration no. 0008109479) (we, us or our) wants Jurvo, meaning our website at jurvo.me (the Site) and the Jurvo app for iOS (the App), to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our target for the Site is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

• Structure. Every page has a single main heading and marked regions for the header, navigation, main content and footer. Long pages have a table of contents, and every section heading has a link of its own.
• Skip link. The first item you reach with the keyboard is a link that skips straight to the main content.
• Keyboard. Everything on the Site works with a keyboard alone, and the item that has keyboard focus is always clearly outlined.
• Contrast. Text and its background meet the WCAG contrast requirements for Level AA.
• Zoom and small screens. You can enlarge text to 200%, and pages reflow to a width of 320 CSS pixels, without content being cut off or needing to scroll sideways.
• Motion. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, the Site does so.
• No barriers of our own. The Site has no time limits, no flashing content, no forms, no sign-in and no puzzles to solve.
• Printing. Legal pages have print styles, so they print without the navigation.
• Automated checks. Every time we change the Site, automated tests check every page against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules that the axe-core testing engine covers, and also check that pages reflow at 320 CSS pixels, work at 200% text size and start with a working skip link.

The App is designed to work with the accessibility features of iOS, including VoiceOver and Dynamic Type, and every swipe gesture in the App has a button that does the same thing. We have not yet had the App's accessibility independently audited.

• Share images. The images that the App creates for sharing a verdict or a list are pictures with fixed text sizes. People who receive them through a screen reader may not be able to read the text in them, and their text does not follow Dynamic Type.
• Testing with assistive technology. We have not yet completed manual testing of every page and every screen with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
• Security checks by Cloudflare. Cloudflare, which delivers the Site, may occasionally show a security check to traffic that looks automated. We do not control that check.
• No independent audit. Neither the Site nor the App has been audited by an independent accessibility expert yet.
