How it works
Swipe to vote
Every card is a dilemma with two options, and each day Jurvo gives you a set of them. Swipe right or left to vote for an option, up to skip, or down to save. Every swipe also has a button.
See the split
After you vote, Jurvo shows you how the votes on that card are split so far.
Post your own
Registered members can post cards. For each card you choose whether it shows your nickname or appears as "Anonymous".
Get the verdict
A card locks when enough votes arrive or its time runs out, and its verdict is then frozen. You can share a verdict, or one of the lists of locked cards, as an image.
Anonymity, honestly
When you post a card anonymously, other people using Jurvo see "Anonymous" instead of your nickname. It is not anonymous to us: PuredLab LLC knows which account posted every card, and uses that to keep people safe, to moderate cards and to meet its legal obligations.
What you write can still identify you to people who know your situation, and every card carries the country from your device's region setting, which other people using the app can access. How you vote stays private: other people see only totals and percentages.
Our Privacy Policy explains what is public and what is not.
Safety
- Jurvo is for adults: you must be 18 or older to use it.
- Automated checks review every card members post before it is published. They refuse a card, or hold it for a person to review, when they detect personal details such as an email address or a phone number. They do not catch everything.
- People on our team review held cards and every report. To report a card, email [email protected].
- Jurvo is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. If you are thinking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or text HOME to 741741 to reach Crisis Text Line.
Our Content Policy explains what you can post and how moderation works.
Signing in and your data
You can explore Jurvo as a guest and vote on a limited number of cards without signing in. To post cards, create an account:
- Sign in with Apple. Jurvo asks Apple only for your email address, and Apple lets you hide it with Hide My Email.
- Sign in with Google. Jurvo asks Google only for basic sign-in information: your Google account's identifier, your email address, and your name and a link to your profile picture if your Google account has them. Jurvo uses that information only to create your account, sign you in, keep your account secure and recognize you when you contact us, and never shows your Google name or picture to anyone.
- Email and password. Use your email address and a password of at least 8 characters.
Jurvo uses your email address only for your account. There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics in the app or on this website, and this website sets no cookies.
Questions
Who writes the cards?
Members write cards about their own dilemmas. Some cards are written by our team, sometimes with help from AI tools, and a person on our team approves each one. They appear under nicknames our team created, or as "Anonymous", in the same way as members' cards. They fill places in your daily set when there are not enough new cards from members, appear alongside members' cards, are not labelled one by one, and never appear in lists or the archive. Every vote on them is cast by a person using the app, as on every other card. Section 6 of our Terms of Service explains this in full.
Is Jurvo free?
Yes. Nothing in the app can be bought today.
How do I delete my account?
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". Our Delete your account page explains every step, and what we delete and what we keep.
How do I contact you?
By email. Our Support page lists which address to use for what.
